Pre-loved treasure offer

WHILE there are plenty of bargains to be found, shopping at the Lidcombe Salvo Store is about more than just saving money.

Salvo Stores area manager Steve Gillespie says people from a diverse range of socio-economic backgrounds shop at Salvo Stores.
“Whether you are looking for a bargain, or a true little treasure, there is always a surprise to be found here,” he said.
“Lidcombe is a one of our larger stores with plenty of parking and there is new stock on the shelves every week including great recycled clothes, furniture, CDs, toys, books, homewares, bedding and manchester.”
He says new store manager Adam Lamont and his team are very friendly and would also welcome any new volunteers.
“So if you have a couple of hours free, stop in and say hi to Adam and discuss how you can give something back to the community,” he said.
“We are also always on the look out for good quality second hand clothing and goods.
“Donations can be dropped off in-store during business hours up until 4.30pm, but please don’t leave items outside as they are often stolen or damaged by the weather.”
Anyone wishing to donate can also ring 13 SALVOS (13 72 58) to arrange a collection.
Located at at Unit 4/82 Parramatta Road at Lidcombe, the Lidcombe Salvo Store is open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm or call 9647 1006 for more information.
