About 2am on Monday, September 9, police were called to a property in Lockwood Street, following reports shots had been fired from a passing vehicle.
No one was injured.
Detectives have CCTV vision of the SUV and are keen to speak with the driver, who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

AN alleged road-rage incident at Lidcombe is under investigation with police appealing for anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to contact them.
Auburn Police responded to reports of a fight on Olympic Drive shortly before 9.40pm on Monday, January 27, and found a 23-year-old man at the scene bleeding from a head wound, while a second man, aged 38, was suffering cuts and bruises. Officers were told the men had become involved in a fight following a road-rage incident nearby.
The younger man was taken to Concord Hospital for treatment, although the injury is not believed to be serious.

Help police identify men
AN eight-year-old boy was a passenger in a car involved in an alleged road-rage assault at Homebush West, and detectives investigating the incident have asked for public help to identify two men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The incident allegedly began just before 2pm on Friday, January 24 when a Subaru Forester station wagon stopped to park on The Crescent at Homebush West.
A Honda CRV SUV, driven by a 42-year-old man with the child on board, attempted to drive around the vehicle when a passenger from the Subaru, another 42-year-old man, allegedly jumped in front of his car.
Police will allege in court that the passenger, along with a group of men, assaulted the Honda driver and damaged the vehicle, however the child was not physically injured.
A 42-year-old man has been charged and remains before the courts, but as part of their inquiries detectives have released images of two men, both described as being of Asian appearance, who they believe may be able to assist with the investigation.
One of the men has a solid build, with black hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a black and grey shirt, black pants and black shoes.
The second man has a medium build, with short black hair, and was last seen wearing a red shirt, dark pants, and a black cap.

Ten charged, 23 ejected
TEN people were charged with supplying prohibited drugs at the Summer Gathering music festival at Sydney Olympic Park on Saturday, January 25.
During high-visibility police operation, led by South West Metropolitan Region, police also issued 13 Court Attendance Notices (CAN); two criminal infringement notices for allegedly possessing prohibited drugs; and 14 youth cautions.
Twenty-three people were also ejected from the premises for intoxication and drug-related matters.
Those charged with supply indictable quantity of prohibited drug offences included a 26-year-old Homebush man who was allegedly found with 97 MDMA capsules, and an 18-year-old Homebush West woman who was also charged with deal with proceeds of crime.
