Rock and Roll’s way to increase fun and fitness

IDEAL for everyone – from teens to retirees – dancing is a fun, easy way to boost physical and mental health.

With no partner required, residents are invited to Allways Rockin’ Dance School’s 1950s rock and roll classes at Club Condell Park, with term 1 starting on Wednesday, February 5, 6.30-7.30pm, costing $10 a class.
Dance instructor Bronwyn Sainty said: “There is no prior dance experience required, just the enjoyment of listening to good old rock and roll music.
“Even if you can’t dance, you can learn rock and roll. We teach you everything you need to know from the very beginning, and even two left feet can dance. We pride ourselves on being patient and caring.
“There are many benefits from learning to dance rock and roll. Fun, fitness, meeting new friends, dancing to live bands to name a few. It is also a way of getting out and about and socialising in a safe and friendly environment.”
