Help to get you on move again

ARE you over 65 and need to get your body moving?
Canterbury City Community Centre is hosting a range of pursuits to help you on your way.
Free Tai Chi in the Park, featuring gentle movements to build strength and flexibility, help reduce degenerative diseases and boost cognitive function, is on offer Wednesdays, 7.45-8.45am, at Jubilee Reserve, Lakemba.
Then at the centre, 130 Railway Pde, Lakemba, Free Gentle Yoga is available on Wednesdays, 2.30-3.30pm; Line Dancing is on Mondays (starting February 10), 2-3pm; an ‘Active Ageing’ class is on Mondays, 10-11am; and a ‘Gentle Exercise’ class is on Mondays, 11.15am-12.15pm.
Classes are run by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist.
Participants must be registered with My Aged Care which the centre can help with.
