CUMBERLAND Mayor Steve Christou will hold his first ‘Meet your Mayor’ session at Stockland Mall in Merrylands, this Thursday, January 16.
Appointments aren’t necessary, and Cr Christou says he’s looking forward to meeting more people and listening to their concerns and ideas about council services, policies and proposals.
“We want our residents to know about the wide range of services that are on offer,” he said.
“We’re here to service ratepayers and we’re getting back to basics at the council.”
The council’s stand will be on level 1 opposite the Food Court from 10am to 1pm.
Meet your Mayor sessions will also be held on Thursday, January 23 and February 6.
