Mirvac aims to ‘unlock riverside parklands for a new community to thrive and grow’

WORK is expected to start later this year on the new residential development which will bring 350 homes to Riverlands in Milperra.

The Mirvac Group acquired an 18-hectare parcel of the Riverlands site – a golf course until it was rezoned for residential use in 2016 – late last year.
Mirvac says the project, which includes a suite of residents’ amenities including tennis courts, pool and barbecue area, will be designed to maximise the community’s access to the river foreshore, including a 3.5-kilometre cycleway along the riverfront which will be dedicated to council and link two existing council reserves.
Mirvac’s Stuart Penklis said their vision is to unlock the riverside parklands along the Georges River where a new community can thrive and grow.
“We will be creating Mirvac quality designed homes that reflect the environment, by being nestled in and amongst the existing trees and carefully orientated to maximise views of the surrounding area,” he said.
The site provides direct access to the M5, as well as being located 3.5 kilometres from the East Hills Station.
The project is expected to completed by 2025.
