EVERY morning as students, including Khaled Farhat, Asmaa Zraika and Ayana Masri, enter teacher Kim Huynh’s class at Old Guildford Public School, they can choose whether they want to be greeted with a big smile, a high five, a fist bump, a handshake or a hug.
Principal Helen Morgani says its about building relationships.
“Relationships matter and it’s the small things we do that have the greatest impact,” she said.
“I am so proud of this teacher for taking the time with her students every morning to connect and care.”
