Man facing charges
over alleged stabbing

A MAN has been charged following an alleged stabbing at Alexandria on Tuesday afternoon.
About 2pm, emergency services attended Bourke Street, near Doody Street, following reports that a man had been stabbed.
The man was treated for multiple stab wounds and taken to St Vincent’s Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
Another man was arrested at the scene and was taken to Mascot Police Station where he was charged with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

A MAN faces numerous firearms and drug supply charges after he was arrested in Marrickville on Sunday night as police investigate drug supply in the local area.
Inner West Police were conducting proactive patrols in the area when they stopped a Volkswagen Polo on Addison Road, and spoke with the 25-year-old male driver.
During a search of the man and his vehicle, officers allegedly located small resealable bags containing cocaine, with a total weight of 14.6g and more than $2,300 cash.
Shortly after the arrest, investigators executed a search warrant at an apartment at Lane Cove, where they located and seized a replica Glock 18, a replica M4A1-V8 rifle, 150g of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, more than $81,000 cash, and several mobile phones.
He was charged with two counts of possessing an unauthorised prohibited firearm, two counts of supplying a prohibited drug, two counts of dealing with proceeds of crime, and goods in personal custody suspected of being stolen.
