THOUSANDS have flocked in to help celebrate the Grand Opening of Woolworths last Thursday, part of The Markets at Roselands – picking up a host of discounted items and enjoying food demos with celebrity chefs like Fast Ed and the Shahrouk Sisters, roving samplers and children’s entertainment across the weekend.
Centre Manager Leigh Galvin said: “The Markets at Roselands have been embraced by our local community who are passionate about fresh food. We have had a fabulous response to the opening of Woolworths and the additional fresh food outlets now available.”
The $90 million transformation at Roselands, has created a new, one-stop precinct where customers can eat, drink, shop and socialise with a range of local fresh food retailers, including a new Aldi and Coles, and casual dining options.
