Young Volunteer of Year win

SECRETARY of Bankstown Sports Touch Association, Nathan Loveday has won the Young Volunteer of the Year Award at the Bankstown Sports’ Annual Service to Sport Medal and Awards Night.

The event honours volunteers and celebrates the successes of Bankstown Sports – Sports Network, with attendees experiencing the magic of the circus up-close with stilt walkers, a silk aerialist, contortionist and a juggler, while enjoying themed canapes and fairy floss topped beverages before indulging in a delicious three-course meal and dessert.
Nathan has been with the club for 15 years, during which time he has been recognised as a leader in administration, including organising fundraising initiatives and sponsorships, as well as coaching and managing for the club.
Harry Chahoud from Bankstown Sports Junior Rugby League Club and Keith Rozairo from Bankstown Sports Touch Association were presented with Service to Sport Medals for “going above and beyond for their clubs for many years”.
