First Halal Food Fest rolling in for families

FEAST on the creations of some of Sydney’s best Halal food trucks, including Smokin Arabs’ much-loved smoking barbecue and Turkish street food from Mr Shish when Auburn Redyard launches its inaugural Halal Food Festival.

The centre will be transformed into a festival of delicious eats, live entertainment and family activities, this Saturday, October 26, 12-9pm.
Vegetarian-friendly options will also be served by El Narcos (delicious potatoes on sticks and deep-fried Oreos), alongside Vege 4 Love’s south-east Asian fare, with refreshing (non-alcoholic) drinks from Lemon Bar, perfect for a sunny Spring day.
A day of fun for the whole family, the festival will also offer free face painting and giant games to keep the kids entertained, as well as Henna artistry by Imagine Henna all day long.
Entertainment will be brought to punters by a live DJ, providing the good tunes for the day’s festivities.
And after dark, fire performers promise to steal the show, with performances at 7.15pm, 7.45 and 8.15pm.
