The vehicle flipped onto its side across graves on Hawthorn Road during the crash and the man was trapped for a short period of time while firefighters secured the accident site.
A spokesperson for Fire and Rescue NSW said firefighters were able to remove him safely through the rear of his vehicle and he remained conscious throughout the incident.
He received only minor injuries and was treated on site by paramedics from NSW Ambulance before being taken to hospital.
Control of the site was handed back to Cemetery officials and crane may be needed to remove the car without causing further damage to the site.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.

AN elderly man has escaped serious injury after rolling his car onto graves at Rookwood Cemetery just before 1pm on Friday.
