Trio arrested for ice supply

THREE people have been charged after an investigation into the alleged supply of heroin and ice from Riverwood.

Operation Vipers is a team made up of detectives and proactive crime team officers attached to St George Police Area Command to investigate and disrupt the supply of illicit drugs in the St George area.
In August, detectives attached to Operation Vipers, commenced inquiries into the on-going supply of the drugs from Riverwood.
Last Thursday afternoon, a search warrant was executed at a hotel in Darling Harbour, where police allegedly located and seized a large sum of cash and a small amount of prohibited drugs within the hotel room. A 28-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman were arrested.
The 28-year-old Riverwood man was charged with seven counts of on-going supply of prohibited drugs, knowingly direct activities of a criminal group, and knowingly dealing with the proceeds of crime.
The 24-year-old Riverwood woman was charged with supply and participating in a criminal group.
A short time later, police arrested a 39-year-old man at a home on Charles Street, Riverwood.
A search warrant was executed at the premise and officers allegedly located and seized two rifles, a taser, a pistol and ammunition, as well as prohibited drugs, an extensive amount of high-end jewellery and around 50 mobile phone devices.
The 39-year-old Riverwood man was charged with five counts of ongoing supply of prohibited drug, two counts supply prohibited drug and participating in a criminal group.
