Dining Out

Tasty snack or hearty feed

SHARING a laugh and a chat with his customers is the best part of each day for the owner of the Berala Kebab House.

With a reputation for handing out hundreds of roses to customers, as well as residents at local nursing homes on Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, Nevzat (Nev) Aslan says he enjoys being able to add a little unexpected spark into someone’s day.
And whether it’s a quick and tasty snack or a satisfying and affordable meal, he loves hearing how much people enjoy his food.
“People know our food is good and fresh and they tell us how much they like it,” he said.
Nev says their Turkish style breakfast with Turkish salami, egg, olives, pepper cheese, cucumber and tomato, all served with Turkish bread and Turkish tea, remains a firm customer favourite.
For lunch, try a fresh homemade gozleme with a choice of cheese and spinach; mince, spinach and cheese; chicken, mushroom and cheese; or get creative and choose your own combination, and if you call your order in, it will be ready and waiting when you arrive.

The menu also includes a great range of burgers, Turkish pides, home-made range of tasty freshly prepared dips including hummus, baba ganoush, beetroot, garlic, rice pudding, chilli yogurt and Tzatziki.
Also offering succulent charcoal chicken dishes, pizza, freshly cooked fish and chips, doner and chicken kebabs, as well as delicious home-made soups, he said they had the perfect dish for even the heartiest appetites.
“We have great deals too. Order a pizza and get a free garlic bread and we have whole charcoal chicken with a small garlic sauce for only $11, “ he said.
The Berala Kebab House is open to dine-in or takeaway from 7am to 9pm, seven days a week.
