Amazing line-up to entertain RSL crowd

KICKING off the spectacular line-up of free entertainment at Petersham RSL Club this weekend, the melodic Jo Elms will showcase her dynamic acoustic style which blends with a love of jazz and soul music as well as her Celtic heritage from 7.30pm on Thursday.

She’s won awards for her original compositions in the 25th Australian National Songwriting Contest and the Musicoz awards and has given electric performances at The Manly International Jazz Festival and The Darling Harbour Jazz and Blues Festival among many others.
Clubgoers are in for another treat the following night on Friday from 7.30pm, when the ‘Elton Show: Out of the Closet’ lights up the stage.
The show includes all the big hits and is an entertainment spectacular that brings the voice, the flamboyant costumes, the characters, the iconic instruments and Elton himself out of the closet.
Next up at the club on Saturday, from 7pm, the Twin Set Duo will take you on an enjoyable musical journey from the past to the present.
The multi award-winning duo consisting of John Charter, Lisa Cook and state-of-the-art technology, will present a fabulous night of music and entertainment.
They have a huge repertoire, covering everything from nostalgic tunes to contemporary hits, with the sound of a Big Band, yet within the tight package of a dynamic duo.
If you’re in the mood for more, head back to the club on Sunday from 3pm to enjoy the Regent St Band.
With the mesmerising energy of a steam locomotive, they’ll transport you to another world.
