Brave Buccaneers’ final loss

IN a tight yet thrilling encounter, St George Association’s Grand Final match between the swashbuckling East Hills Buccaneers and St Pats 5th Grade, kept everyone guessing until the end.

With the East Hills Buccaneers scoring two in the first innings and St Pats coming back hard, it was all tied up at four going into the sixth.
St Pats came out strongly to score three and unfortunately the East Hills Buccaneers couldn’t cut down their lead and St Pats took out the win, 7-4.
“It was a fantastic effort by the East Hills Buccaneers coming fourth in the competition overall and making the Grand Final,” a club spokesperson said.
“It was an exciting game with East Hills Buccaneers supporters young and old out in full force cheering them on. Well done to all the players.”
