Bins left on road a traffic hazard

COUNCILLOR Glenn Elmore has called on the Cumberland Council's waste contractors to take more care after he spotted more than a dozen emptied bins left sitting on Mountford Avenue on Friday afternoon while walking home from the railway station.
"The traffic needs to cross into the oncoming traffic to avoid the rubbish bins," he said
"This is on the 906 bus route. It's a safety issue.
"It's unacceptable and the contractor shouldn't leave the empty bins in a dangerous matter."
