A MURAL honouring the Anzacs has been unveiled at Birrong Boys High School.
Special guests at the launch last Wednesday included the NSW Opposition Leader Luke Foley, mural artist Gerard Reardon and Cumberland RSL Sub branch president Greg Read (pictured).
Birrong Boys High School principal Darren Stevens thanked the NSW Veterans' Affairs Department for funding the mural, which he says serves as both a reminder and an inspiration to students.
"As proud Australians, all members of the Birrong Boys High School community acknowledge, commemorate and respect those service men and women who have sacrificed so much so that we can enjoy the freedom and opportunity provided by this great country," Mr Stevens said.
