The talented team at the Hairbrush salon on Selems Parade at Revesby.
WHEN she was working as a part-time beauty therapist at the Hairbrush salon on Selems Parade at Revesby, Regents Park resident Catherine (Minh) Nguyen couldn't get over how lovely all of the customers were, with some just dropping in for a chat as they walked by.
"When the salon came up for sale, I just jumped at the opportunity to be a permanent part of this wonderful community," Catherine told The Torch.
Taking over about a month ago, Catherine has also expanded the hair and beauty services on offer at the salon, just in time for the 'prom' season when young women and men will be preparing for their formal graduation from high school.
"Hairbrush is a one-stop shop for all things beauty and glamour," she said.
"And I have been told we are very affordable."
You can book for the hair works, including the latest cutting and colouring styles such as Balayage, then have a manicure, pedicure or shellac or acrylic nails.
The beauty therapists offer facials, skin needling, microdermabrasion, massage, waxing, lip, eyeline, beauty spot and eyebrow tattooing, eyelash lifts and extensions, spray tans, ear piercing and full formal make-up which comes with fake eyelashes, a casual daytime finish or fun, party make-up.
There are four senior hairdressers as well as the beauty team, with two private treatment rooms off the main floor.
"I would love to help transform young women and help make them feel and look their best for their big day or evening but of course, we cater for females and males of all ages.
"If you haven't visited a salon for a while or updated your look in ages, book in for an appointment and let us transform you."
With pensioner discounts also available, drop into the Hairbrush salon to have a chat with Catherine or call to book an appointment on 9792 1177.
