Wonderful world of weeds
CANTERBURY City Community Centre is organising a 'Wonderful World of Weeds' walk this Saturday, March 18, starting from St Mary McKillop Reserve, Canterbury. The walk will be led by Diego Bonetto, well known for his urban foraging workshops. "Plants are our botanical brothers and sisters, some are the ancestors of nowadays domesticated food sources, while others have always been harvested from the wild and used for food and remedies," he says.
