AN eclectic range of antique items and unique pieces of furniture exclusively manufactured or refurbished, will be on offer during The Bower Reuse and Repair Centre's 2nd annual auction this Saturday, October 24, 2-4pm.
After last year's success, The Bower's auction has gained the reputation of an exceptional occasion to acquire creatively repurposed and recycled preloved goods for a bargain price.
It has become the place to be for lovers of vintage and one of a kind up-cycled items.
Adam McDonald from Lawson Auctioneers, who is also the presenter of Aussie Pickers on Foxtel, will host the auction.
The lush and relaxed setting of the Addison Road Community Centre where the Bower is situated, is a perfect location for this auction, says Guido Verbist, Cooperative Manager of The Bower.
"Entertainment for children will be provided while parents place their bid," he said.
"Live music with Sean and Miss Bow, a sausage sizzle and a preview of the documentary 'Repurposefully' in which producer Michael Angel follows the journey of a repurpose artist, will complete the program."
A catalogue with all items is available on The Bower's website at bower.org.au.
Part of the popular Garage Sale Trail which happens on the same day, Bower auction attendees are requested to register their interest at Eventbrite.com
For more info about the auction, call Mr Verbist on 9568 6280 or email gm@bower.org.au
