Celebrate first year of training success

THE inaugural Peter Moore Bulldogs Academy has proven to be a huge success with more 180 youngsters taking part.

The free academy delivered a new strategic approach to engaging, developing and upskilling junior league players and coaches to have more confidence and fun playing and coaching, with fully qualified and elite coaches offering the latest education, skills and techniques.
Its aim was to provide a great environment where local juniors could come and experience the atmosphere at Belmore and be part of a program that improves them as players.
The academy wrapped up for the year with the Awesome Attitude Awards and Coaching Excellence Awards, sponsored by Bankstown City Unity Bank. The awards were for those who displayed a keenness to learn, a proactive manner and assisting staff and coaches.

The winners were: Awesome Attitude Award – Under 10s, Xander Moisidis; Under 11s, Calvin Doyle; Under 12s, Kobi Brasch; Under 13s, Bailey Graham; and Under 14s, Noah Serhan; Coaching Excellence Award Winners: Kannon Rajah, Kurt Ellis, Patrick Carroll, Zahi El Zein, and Stephen Crawford.
A spokesperson for the academy said a huge ‘thank you’ to everyone who supported the program.
