Favourite little Greek taverna

EVEN if you can’t escape to the warmth of a Greek Island to beat the winter chill, it’s worth a trip into the heart of Leichhardt for your own Hellenic adventure at Koutouki, one of Sydney’s favourite little Greek tavernas.

Featuring live Greek music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday with the always popular Out Of The Blue band, join the Koutouki team this week as they celebrate their third anniversary and say hello to resident musician Peter Panayioti, who is also having a birthday.
On Wednesday, chat with restaurant host Nick about matching one of the Greek wines from the mainland with a family-friendly meat platter, then on Thursday ask Georgette about Koutouki perks.
And don’t forget to ask for a Greek coffee, prepared with love the way yia yia (grandma) used to make it in a traditional brikki style pot and served in a small white cup.
Don’t forget your dancing shoes on Friday as lead singer Georgette Giatis, musician Panayoti Kalandranis and friends join the Out of the Blue band on stage.

On Saturday night vocalist Georgia Giatis, musician Peter Kalandranis and guests kick up their heels on stage with the Out of the Blue, and on Sunday night special guest Themelis joins the show..
Indulge yourself along the way with one of Koutouki’s signature dishes created by their talented chefs, including sumptuous moussaka, calamari and barbecued octopus.
The family and kid friendly menu also features plenty of healthy food options such as gluten free, vegan, halal and kosher dishes.
Located at 138 Norton St, Leichhardt dine in, pick-up or order a home delivery through UberEats for dinner from Wednesday to Sunday, 5.30pm to late, and for lunch on Sunday, 12-3.30pm.
